Andrew Bair, Chief Executive Officer
Andrew Bair was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Diamondback Tactical in August 2012, and he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the company since July 2012. Mr. Bair joined Diamondback Tactical in November 2011 as Senior Vice President for Corporate Development, and he has been an Operating Partner at Torch Hill Investment Partners since October 2011. During his 25-year career, Mr. Bair has served in several senior positions in the U.S. Government and in the national security industry. In addition, he has advised the U.S. and foreign governments, international organizations, and many leading international security firms. Prior to his joining Torch Hill and Diamondback Tactical, Mr. Bair served as CEO of two Washington-based national security-consulting firms, and he was a Senior Vice President at the Willis Group in New York. During his tenure in government, Mr. Bair served in the U.S. Department of State where he was Special Advisor for Counter-Terrorism in the Office of the Secretary of State, Senior Advisor to the U.S. Special Envoy to the Balkans, and Senior Advisor in the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs. He also spent three years as a senior political advisor with the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the former Yugoslavia. Mr. Bair began his career with SAIC and BDM International. He has earned a B.A. in Political Science from Southern Methodist University, an M.A. in National Security Affairs from George Washington University, and an Executive Certificate in International Finance from Georgetown University. Mr. Bair is a published author on international peacekeeping policy, and he is a member of the Atlantic Council.
Joseph T. Click, Controller
Joe Click joined Diamondback Tactical as the Controller in March 2013. Mr. Click has extensive experience in increasing performance through developing and implementing policies and procedures to make companies more efficient. Mr. Click has developed costing systems, inventory control and flow systems, and forecasting models with a variety of companies including MSD North Carolina, Urbana University, and Coats North America, as well as directed international corporate relocations to the United States. Mr. Click’s experience includes 11 unqualified audits. In addition, Mr. Click has been a successful private business owner and has been CPA certified since 1995. Mr. Click has a BS degree in Accounting from Urbana University in the State of Ohio.
Dale Taylor, Chief Operating Officer
Dale Taylor’s extensive knowledge of the body armor industry began at Armor Holdings over 24 years ago. He has an extensive amount of knowledge in all areas of soft and hard armor design for personal protection systems, and also vehicular and structural armament. Mr. Taylor was integral in the product development and integration across all brands while at Armor Holdings. In 2000, Mr. Taylor left Armor Holdings and was instrumental in the growth of an upstart armor company called Gator Hawk. There he served as Vice President of R&D and Operations. Mr. Taylor’s career experience has allowed him to contribute technological advancements in the design of armor throughout the industry. In 2008, Mr. Taylor joined First Choice Armor as Senior Vice President of Products & Quality Assurance. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Diamondback Tactical.
Jesse Walcott, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Walcott joined Torch Hill Investment Partners in 2011 and focuses primarily on transaction execution and portfolio monitoring and development. Mr. Walcott has spent much of his career investing and operating in the defense and government services, automotive and firearms industries. Prior to Torch Hill he spent seven years at Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. in the Private Equity Group and in executive positions within two Cerberus portfolio companies, where he was involved with nine completed acquisitions representing over $7 billion of invested capital, as well as numerous financing and restructuring transactions. Most recently, Mr. Walcott served as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development for IAP Worldwide Services, a $1 billion revenue defense contractor controlled by Cerberus. Prior to IAP, Mr. Walcott served as Vice President of Strategic Planning for Freedom Group, Inc., the largest global commercial markets manufacturer of firearms and ammunition, also controlled by Cerberus. Prior to Cerberus, he spent five years in investment banking at Legacy Securities and JPMorgan’s Financial Sponsors Group. Mr. Walcott graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor degree in English and Economics.
