Jeff Gonzales was a decorated and respected US Navy SEAL for 12 years. He served with SEAL Team Four as an operator and trainer where he routinely deployed to USSOCOM and participated in numerous combat operations. While with SEAL Team Four, he was responsible for training fellow teammates in various combat related skills such as weapons, tactics and demolitions. Selected for the team’s training cell, he was instrumental in developing several blocks of instruction that increased the Team’s overall combat effectiveness. Later assigned to the Naval Special Warfare Center, he organized and supervised the instruction of weapons, tactics, and standard operating procedures in Land Warfare to hundreds of students training to become US Navy SEALs. He was directly involved with the increase in each student's weapon proficiency, tactical knowledge and combat mindset, thus enhancing the operational readiness of the community.

After leaving active duty, Jeff created Trident Concepts, LLC, a company specializing in researching, developing, and providing reality-based training in modern warfare tactics, techniques and procedures. Under Jeff’s leadership as the Director of Training, TRICON has earned a reputation for providing no-nonsense, battle-proven training designed to meet the current threats to our homeland security and enhance counter-terrorism capabilities. Army Chief Warrant Officer-3 (RET) Donovan Alexander served over twenty-six years in the U.S. Army. Twenty-five of those years were spent in Army Special Operations Forces, twenty-one in Special Forces. Don’s last assignment was with the 5th Special Forces Group based at Fort Campbell, KY.

During his career, Don was involved in several combat operations including DESERT SHIELD / DESERT STORM (Saudi Arabia-Kuwait-Iraq), PROVIDE RELIEF and RESTORE HOPE in Somalia, JOINT ENDEAVOR in Bosnia, ENDURING FREEDOM in Afghanistan and IRAQI FREEDOM in Kuwait and Iraq. A large part of his mission involved training of not only U.S. military personnel, but foreign personnel as well. As a result of an exemplary military career, he received the Army and Navy Presidential Unit Citations, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star with V and Oak Leaf Cluster, Combat Infantryman’s Badge with Star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal with Bronze Arrowhead (assault landing) and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.

Don has extensive experience and expertise in rural Small Unit Tactics, Urban Combat, Field Craft, Counter Terrorism, Direct Action and numerous other special operations related areas. Don is a certified instructor of numerous conventional weapons systems as well as a past student of several nationally recognized firearms schools both in the military and civilian sector. He has conducted and supervised training for thousands of personnel during his career, including outstanding success with SHD Consulting, Thunder Ranch, and others.

Harry, SHD Director of Training, is a retired Texas police officer with over twenty years of service. During his tenure he was assigned to several different divisions including Patrol, Traffic, Narcotics Investigation (both overt and undercover operations), Special Operations (street crimes), Criminal Investigations, and his last assignment of Traffic/Criminal Patrol Sergeant and Commander of the multi-agency Special Operations Unit in his area. Harry served as a member and supervisor for a multi-agency narcotics investigation group as well as the entry team leader. He has been involved with SWAT/High Risk Operations and training since 1987. Harry holds various licenses including Master Peace Officer, Police Instructor, Firearms Instructor, NRA Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, as well as numerous certificates in handgun, rifle, shotgun and tactics classes from a host of recognized leaders in the industry.

Harry worked many years as an adjunct instructor for Thunder Ranch Inc. In this capacity he provided weapons and tactics training to civilian security, law enforcement, and military personnel from all over the nation and abroad. He is an expert in Site Security assessments and has provided consulting services to the United States Department of Education as well as numerous U.S. public school systems.

In 2003, Harry and his partner, Don Alexander, formed SHD Consulting, Inc. Their clients include a variety of U.S. Government and Law Enforcement Agencies.

SHD Consulting, Inc. was formed in the spring of 2003 by Harry Fleming and Don Alexander to meet the mobile training needs of a variety of clients requiring professional level firearms instruction and security services.

The 39-year-old Gracie is one of nine children, seven of whom are boys. His training in Jiu-Jitsu began at a very early age as a game with his father Helio, now 94 years old. Helio never pushed any of the children to take formal classes until they wanted to do so, however they often went to the Academy in Rio after school and on weekends. Royce began competing in tournaments at age eight and received his Blackbelt at 18 when he moved to the United States.

Royce’s reputable career as a fighter began in 1993 after defeating three opponents in the first Ultimate Fighting Championship. Discipline after discipline was defeated by the slight 6’1", 185 lbs Royce Gracie. His opponents all outweighed him by more than 50 lbs. Royce went on to win 3 UFC titles and today is the only man in the history of no holds barred matches to successfully defeat four opponents in one night. Royce is still very active in the fight world with most recent fights in the PRIDE Grand Prix, held in Japan in 2000, 2002, K-1 in 2004, 2006, and the UFC in 2006.
