The Diamondback Tactical website is proud to showcase our well-established products and introduce you to a number of new and innovative products. Each of these products was created as a direct result of input from you. That input was instrumental in the creation of our new family of ballistic platforms. The first is the completely redesigned Predator® Rapid Ballistic Vest. The original Predator revolutionized tactical body armor. The new Predator takes it to the next level. It features numerous changes requested by users in the field, including the addition of side plate pockets and SPEAR (SOF Personnel Equipment Advanced Requirements) cut armor for additional ballistic coverage without sacrificing operational mobility. We eliminated the external cummerbund zipper, replacing it with a super-strong hook and loop closure system that includes a low profile accessory pocket. Plus, we added rigid strength members to the cummerbund to prevent it from sagging under gear load. A durable cooling mesh liner and new, wider, lengthened, foam-padded shoulder straps with moisture-wicking Dry-Lex® liner for extra comfort are just a few more of the features that will make this the operator’s choice for years to come. The second is the all-new Praetorian® Rapid Cutaway Ballistic Vest for over -water operations. It incorporates all the same features as the Predator plus many more. These include our one wire release system that allows you to jettison the vest in seconds if the need arises; flotation inserts to help maintain positive buoyancy; and a single-pull plate ejection system if additional buoyancy is required. The third member of the trio is the Enhanced Fast Attack Plate Carrier. This new system offers you the same comfortable shoulder straps as the Predator; level IIIA side armor inserts with plate pockets; and the same super strong hook and loop closure system including a low profile accessory pocket. For high speed mobility, there is not a better system out there.
